Police raid Parvez Elahi's Gujrat residence

No member of Parvez Elahi’s family was present in the house at the time of the raid.
GUJRAT (Dunya News) – Police carried out a raid at the residence of former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in Gujrat on late Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
Police surrounded the residence of former chief minister, the Kunjah House, and left after two hours without taking any action. No member of Parvez Elahi’s family was present in the house at the time of the raid.
It is not the first time that police have conducted raid at Parvez Elahi house in Gujrat. In February, the authorities have carried out raids at the Kunjah House. At the time, Elahi alleged that the raids on his home and other places were being conducted on the whims of the Punjab caretaker set-up and federal government.
